Open data feeds

Also: network rail open data, national rail open data, feeds

The railway publishes its live data for free, for anyone to build with.

Network Rail’s open data includes train movements (TRUST), the Train Describer, the daily timetable, short-notice schedules (VSTP), temporary speed restrictions, and reference data like CORPUS and SMART. Anyone can register and connect.

National Rail’s open data includes Darwin, the forecasts behind station departure boards.

In Trainiac

Trainiac is built entirely on these, plus OpenStreetMap for the track.
