“Likely” train class
Also: class guess, likely from the timetable, power type
The timetable hints at what kind of train will run, and Trainiac reads the hint.
The timetable doesn’t say which train will turn up, but it does say how the train is powered and what it’s timed for: its power type and timing load. Those are there so planners can work out how fast it can go.
An electric multiple unit timed as a Class 390 is almost certainly a Class 390. A diesel unit’s code narrows it down to a family. Trainiac turns these hints into a class, and calls it likely, because on the day the railway can swap in a different train.
In Trainiac
