Where a train stops in the station. Planned ahead, but it can change on the day.
Schedules include a planned platform for many stops, and the station’s boards show it. On the day, trains can be moved to a different platform, and Darwin passes the change on.
Big stations often hold back the platform until shortly before departure, which is why it can appear late.
