Timetable change
Also: timetable change date, may timetable, december timetable
Twice a year, in May and December, the whole timetable is replaced by a new one.
Example
Sunday 17 May 2026
The start of the timetable Trainiac’s history reaches back to.
Britain’s railway timetable changes on a Sunday in May and a Sunday in December. That’s when new trains start, old ones stop, and times shift.
Each permanent schedule is valid from one change date until the next, with short-term changes laid on top.
