Cancellation
Also: cancelled, reinstated, reinstatement
TRUST’s record that a train won’t run, or won’t run all the way.
A train can be cancelled before it starts, or partway, from a particular place onwards. TRUST records which, and gives a reason code.
Cancellations can be undone, which TRUST calls a reinstatement. A train can also start from somewhere other than planned, a change of origin.
Cancellations planned in advance usually come through the timetable instead, as short-term cancellations.
